However, the CD-ROM refuses to boot any of my windows discs or any other bootable discs (including one 'emergancy boot disk' from packard bell's website.) I've tried every CD. Currently, I've managed to get the hard drives and CD-ROM drive to detect on the packard bell, with the help of SoundDoc and other people's posts. original istructions and labeling included as images. The original Packard Bell Restore CDs and other bits were since found in the Internet Archives and with the help of Kiki, we extracted the contents of the Archives on the UK edition Restore CD and I have rebuilt a new OEM image with Windows 95 OSR2, the drivers for my specific machine and reloaded all the original Packard Bell Goodies. Original Oem Disk And Manual For Packard Bell Spectra Class Pc 486dx4 Win 95. Pre-WinXP doesn't require any activation either and generic drivers should also work. Packard Bell Master Cd Oem 486 Spectra Win95 Language English. It would perhaps be a better idea to use a generic Windows install from a standard 98SE or ME install disk. Please any suggestions you have are greatly appreciated because the computer is not doing any good sitting around.
